Itinerary
Set off on board Big Fury in style! Once you're out of the marina you'll be able to feel her speed and your adrenaline will kick in! You'll be zipping between the islands in no time. Be sure to take in the spectacular scenery!
Whitehaven Beach & Hill Inlet Lookout
Enjoy up to two hours on Whitehaven Beach where you can swim, relax, sunbathe or stroll along the 7km of pure white silica sands. Whitehaven Beach is world famous for both its unique sand and being a filming destination for Hollywood blockbusters like Pirates of the Caribbean and Ticket to Paradise. Opt to go for a guided bush walk to Hill Inlet Lookout, where you can soak in the swirling sands and turquoise blue waters. The views are picture-perfect so be sure to take your camera!
Snorkelling
After your morning on Whitehaven, you'll make your way to the reef of the day, chosen carefully by your crew, where you will get to enjoy around two hours of wondrous snorkelling. Snorkel over beautiful coral formations and spot the different types of marine life below. Search for clown fish or green sea turtlers! All snorkelling gear, tuition and flotation devices are provided for you. Big Fury has a permit to take passengers to the best snorkelling spots in the Whitsundays such as Hook Island, Border Island and Hayman Island.
Return to Airlie Beach
Enjoy one last wild ride as you make your way back to the mainland. Marvel at the islands one last time before returning to Airlie for the evening, just in time to enjoy a sunset cocktail or refreshing beverage to round out your awesome day! Are transfers included from my accommodation?
Yes! Big Fury offers a courtesy bus that picks up from local Airlie Beach accommodations. Please advise your pick up location at the time of booking.
Are special dietary requirements catered for?
Big Fury caters to most dietary preferences including vegetarian and gluten free. Please advise us at the time of booking your requirements.
Can I purchase alcohol on board?
You can purchase chilled bottled water, soft drinks and chocolates onboard. BYO ‘a few’ beers are permitted, but please note no glass bottles allowed. Drinking alcohol during the day will prohibit you for participating in any snorkelling activity.
Is this tour suitable for children?
Yes it is! Children aged 3 and up can join this tour as long as they are supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Is there a toilet on board?
Yes there is! Located in the centre of the boat is a changing room and toilet with wash basin.

Wonderful day trip on the big fury. Great weather in March, not too hot. Fast boat ride to Whitsunday Islands. Plenty of food for lunch for a group of 20 people with leftovers. Knowledgeable crew. Lots of great memories at a beautiful location. Highly recommended.
