Embark on your 2-day and 2-night tour of the idyllic Whitsunday Islands onboard one of the Whitsundays most popular vessels - Entice! Fun-filled days are awaiting every guest, as you try out the unrivalled collection of water toys in the Whitsundays' clear, serene bays. Remember to pack your camera and hat as you take the short hike to Hill Inlet Lookout to take in the swirling kaleidoscope of colours from above, and reward yourself with a plunge in Whitehaven Beach's turquoise lagoons afterwards. Avoid the crowds on Entice's spacious decks with a small, social group of 10 guests, unwinding immediately as your friendly crew takes care of everything. From 1st September 2024, Entice will be departing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays rather than Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Itinerary
Meet at Airlie Beach's Coral Sea Marina before setting sail and heading out towards the Whitsunday Islands. After awakening to the soft lull of the ocean on your first overnight anchorage, head to breathtaking snorkel locations around the Whitsundays. Bump shoulders with exotic marine species that call the Whitsundays home, including Maori Wrasse, sea turtles, colorful fish, and endless species of coral and plant life. Make sure to remember your camera as you head to the world-renowned destinations of Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet Lookout. Take in the awe-inspiring sunsets as your friendly crew hoists the sails, and you make friends old and new over delicious, freshly prepared meals!
Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet Lookout
Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet Lookout are among the most popular on-land destinations in the Whitsunday Islands. The world-famous beach and accompanying lookout offer a special, authentic Australian experience, where you can relax on the picturesque sands and witness the unique views from the lookout above! Hill Inlet Lookout is the best viewpoint to see the swirling silica sands that constantly change pattern as the tides rise and fall, creating a stunning natural masterpiece that never looks the same twice - making it one of the most photographed places in all of Australia!
Snorkelling and Sea Scooters
You will get plenty of time to snorkel whilst onboard Entice. All gear and instructions are provided by our experienced crew, making it the perfect aquatic activity for both seasoned and first-time snorkellers. Hop off the back of the vessel and submerge yourself in the marine playground below. The protected coves and bays of the Whitsunday Islands create ideal snorkelling conditions, making for an unforgettable experience in some of the most diverse coral reefs in the world. You can also cruise through the underwater world on a sea scooter!
Glass-bottom Canoe and Paddle Boards
Entice offers a whole new, exciting Whitsundays reef experience as glass-bottom canoes and stand-up paddle boards call your name! The glass-bottom canoe offers a perfect opportunity to see the reef up close without getting wet, and the paddle boards are sure to get you laughing as you keep your balance and wade across the reef. You'll have a blast, all while enjoying the Whitsundays sunshine!

In need of somewhere to store your luggage while you're away? We've got you covered! Come down to The Travel Shop (344 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach) to drop your bags at our secure luggage store.
You will also need to bring your own alcoholic beverages, available for purchase in town. No glass bottles permitted (with the exception of wine, champagne or spirits).
Frequently asked questions
Can I bring children on Entice?
Yes but there is a minimum age of 6 years old. It also may be subject to change in the future.
Can I BYO?
You are permitted to bring your own alcohol. Just keep in mind that small glass bottles are not permitted (like beer, cider, pre-mixed spirits).
Are there air-conditioners on board Entice?
Unfortantely there are no air-conditioners on board, but the cooling seabreeze should do the trick!
Does Entice cater towards vegetarian, vegan etc diets?
Yes they do! Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any dietary requirements (gluten-free, celiac, lactose-free, dairy-free, vegetarian or vegan) so we can ensure that these are accommodated for in advance.
Are there hot showers onboard?
There are 4 bathrooms onboard, all of which have hot water showers!
Can I smoke on board Entice?
Yes, but only in designated smoking areas.
What if my phone dies? Can I charge my phone on Entice?
As there is limited service throughout the Whitsunday Islands, and no Wifi on board, you likely won't need your phone. However, if your phone does happen to die, there are USB charging ports in the cabins and main saloon for you to use.
Where does the boat depart?
Entice departs from the Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach.
Is there a parking facility at Coral Sea Marina?
Yes, Coral Sea Marina has a large carpark where you can leave your car for the duration of your trip (daily rates apply).
Where can I store excess luggage while out on tour?
There is secure luggage storage at The Travel Shop towards the top of Airlie Main Street, which will cost around $6 for the day.
Can I come on Entice if I can't swim?
This is decided on a case-by-case basis, and would need to be discussed at the time of booking.
Is Entice wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, the layout of Entice means that it isn't accessible for passengers in wheelchairs. A list of Whitsundays tourrs that are wheelchair accessible can be found here.
What kind of weather can I expect in the Whitsundays?
Weather in the Whitsundays varies drastically depending on which time of year you visit! During the Summer months (December - April), expect hot humid weather with a higher chance of showers. From May - November, it's generally much cooler and less chance of rain!
What kind of activities are included on Entice?
As well as snorkeling, Entice has stand up paddleboards, sea scooters, and a glass-bottom canoe available for use!
Are towels provided?
Bath towels are provided, but it's recommended to bring your own beach towels.
Is there drinking water available?
Yes, there is drinking water onboard. Please bring a reusable water bottle with you!
What should I bring with me on tour?
A small soft bag with changes of clothes, swimwear, toiletries, beach towel, re-usable waterbottle, sun protection, a camera and any drinks you may want during the trip! It's also worth bringing slightly warmer clothes for the winter evenings.
How many crew members are there on Entice?
There are two crew members on each trip - one skipper and one host.
What type of shoes are practical to bring with me?
While on the boat, everyone is required to be barefoot for the duration. When doing the bush walk to Hill Inlet, it's definitely worth bringing thongs/sliders/sandals/trainers as it can be quite rough underfoot.
Is all snorkelling equipment provided on Entice?

Are there any types of alcohol that are not permitted onboard?
Red wine, and any type of glass bottles are not permitted.
Which days does Entice depart?
Entice departs every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
