Itinerary
Snorkelling
The Whitsunday Islands offer an abundance of sensational snorkel destinations ideally suited for all levels of experience. Expect to see a variety of fish species, soft and hard corals and anemone fish, as you keep your eyes peeled for turtles, stingrays, moray eels, sharks, and the huge Maori Wrasse! All your snorkel gear is provided, stingersuits are distributed to all passengers, and our experienced crew members will provide guidance and assistance where needed. An adventure you won't want to miss out on!
Heated Spa
The ever-popular heated spa located at the foredeck is the perfect extra to warm up and truly unwind after a day of water activities in the Whitsundays. Enjoy a cold beverage as the sun sets, or an evening stargazing with friends new and old. Not only is the spa heated but it has soothing jets as well - did someone say paradise!
Stand-up Paddleboards (SUP)
Experience all the beauty and wonder of the Great Barrier Reef onboard one of our stand-up paddleboards! Always popular, the paddleboards are great fun to cruise around the colourful reefs. Gaze in wonder at the amazing coral gardens that live below, and the many curious reef fish that will come close to grab a look at you! It's a perfect activity for spotting turtles and other marine life, all while enjoying a laugh with everybody under the Whitsundays sunshine!
Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet Lookout
Be sure to have your cameras ready, as you take the opportunity to capture the most incredible, panoramic views of Hill Inlet's ever-changing swirling silica sands! Following a guided scenic bushwalk up to the Lookout, it will be time to immerse yourself in the world-renowned shorelines and lagoons of Whitehaven Beach. Soak up the sun, wade in the shallows with friends and family, and spot gentle baby sharks and stingrays!
Underwater Blue Lights
As the stars start to twinkle above and you have finished enjoying a delicious meal with Adventurer's social crew, it is time to take in the underwater blue light entertainment. Embedded in the aft hulls, Whitsunday Adventurer features two blue lights that attract a variety of marine activity from giant Trevallies, small bait fish, squid, and even dolphins! An added feature enjoyed amongst everybody, as you take a peek into the underwater playground below!

Please note - the trip on Adventurer departing on the 01/01/2025 will incur a $30 per person Public Holiday surcharge. This will be charged at the time of check-in.

What to Bring
Please bring only a small soft bag containing no zippers or wheels with:
- Change of clothes
- Swimwear
- Beach towel
- Toiletries
- Insect repellent
- Water bottles to refill (please no metal bottles)

- Comfortable walking shoes
- Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunnies etc.)
- Warm clothes/pullover for evenings (seasonal)
- Cash if you want to buy soft drinks on board
In need of somewhere to store your luggage while you're away? We've got you covered! Come down to The Travel Shop (344 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach) anytime between 9am and 6pm to drop your bags at our secure luggage store.
You will also need to bring your own alcoholic beverages, available for purchase in town. No glass bottles or red wine permitted.
Frequently asked questions
Can I bring children on Whitsunday Adventurer?
You can bring children on this trip however the minimum age is 6 years. Children ages 6-15 years must be booked into a private cabin. Anyone ages 16+ can be booked into an open single.
On request and family of four may be able to book in the open shared area.
Children travel on this tour at full adult rates. Please advise any child ages at the time of booking.
Can I smoke on board?
Yes you will be permitted to smoke on board, however only in designated areas or when instructed by the crew.
Do you cater for specific dietary requirements?
Please note passengers with any dietary requirements (vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free etc.) will need to pay a surcharge of $20 per person payable on check in. This does not include vegetarians. Please enquire upon booking if unsure.
Can I go diving?
Diving is not offered on Whitsunday Adventure, however snorkelling is!
Is snorkelling equipment provided?
Yes, snorkelling gear will be provided for you to use.
Where can I store luggage that I don't want to take on board?
You can store excess luggage at our Airlie Beach Bag Storage on the main street of Airlie for a small fee.
Can I bring alcohol on board?
Yes you can bring your own alcohol, but glass is not allowed. You also cannot bring excessive amounts of alcohol - the absolute maximum is 24 cans of beer (preferably lite), one box of wine, or 1/2 bottle of spirits per person.
Is there air conditioning on Whitsunday Adventurer?
No, there is no air conditioning on board this vessel, however there are fans in each room.
